We were asked by The University of Highlands and Islands Facilities Managements Department to resolve a dispute between the University and their plumbing contractor regarding an installation on the Perth campus.
Due to earthworks occurring at a neighbour’s property a household in rural Yorkshire lost their spring fed water supply. RAH Consultancy are working to resolve the dispute and reinstate the couple with a spring fed water supply into their property.

Richard Hurst FCIPHE, IEng, IMarEng, MIMarEST says that the most effective measure to prevent scalding is by limiting the outlet temperature of the hot water, and the best device to do this is the thermostatic mixing valve (TMV).
“It is important that the valves are installed in a system where the limits of operation are known.”

RAH Consulting is advising Mace on water regulation approval for the South Bank Tower. We are pleased to announce that Mace have recently achieved "sign-off" by Thames Water inspectors for all floors of completed apartments. This project has been completed ahead of schedule and our work has helped Mace to achieve a completed water system without the necessity for a third fit.
